Write the songs… and sing the demo versions…
A ton of songs to be done… a flurry of songwriting tasks to complete! Just coming off the heels of Sarah’s “Taking Flight” album release, I’ve been asked to write a few songs for a couple of Viva artists with albums coming out pretty soon as well (not cheap flights either as well - no pun intended).
Some of the artists I’ve been requested to write songs for are:
“Mocha”
Yes, that’s her name… stage name at least. Claims to be 21 years old… (don’t ask why I mentioned “claims”). She’s called “Mocha” most probably because of her complexion. You can also check out her official website (albeit outdated according to Viva) here.
She reminds me of Nicole of the Pussycat Dolls… hmmm…
She frequents the more popular watering holes and stage venues in and around Metro Manila doing gigs… just not sure exactly where but I’m pretty sure you can do some research on that… isn’t that right, boys?! Hehehe!
I believe she’s already done one album long ago but didn’t really get the promotional support it needed. Her second album will be under Viva Records and the head honchos seem to be gearing towards a major campaign for her.
I’m pretty sure majority of my male “bloggies” (blog buddies) are already raring to see the other photos below… okay, go right ahead…! Bwehehehe! Ingat lang… baka magkakuliti!
“Nikki Bacolod”
Yes… the “Search for the Star in a Million” runner-up. She’s coming up with her first “full-album”. Her previous album entitled, “In Full Bloom”, was in “CD-Lite” format (5 tracks only).
Another major release slated towards the 4th quarter of 2007.
The album, according to Viva, will be carrying sort of a “Jojo-ish” / “Hillary Duff-ish” feel. Which I believe is aptly right for her age. We’ll see what happens…

errr, btw, in case you are wondering how i get to listen to it… i had my bro rip the orig cd and send the tracks to me through email. among other things. 
kasi naman, he told me they will send it through fedex next week pa! unexpected delay on their part. can’t wait that long! :p
anyways, i just realized that Miss is like a sarah version of a Kelly Clarkson angst-rock-girlpower-kickass song. hehehe! hmmm, i think imma put that on my review. hehehe!
btw, nikki is a good friend of sarah ata, so… ok, i just put a connection as a reason for me to grab her cd when it comes out. *lol*
