I was wandering around the net not really sure where to surf to when I stumbled upon a short and interesting entry which was actually an introduction to a book written by Max Lucado.

It talks about the similarity of your hand to your entire being… how someone can liken the actions by his/her hand to one’s own spirituality.

The introduction was so effective that by the end of it, I was already wondering where I could possibly look for the book.

I recently saw the book by Max Lucado on sale in our church. I’ll have to check the title though, but just in case that you don’t find it there in Manila, you might want to buy it from here, I’ll ship it for you bro. ;)

Hey Jim! Much appreciated…! Will check out our local bookstore and see if it’s there. Will let you know if there aren’t any here.

Geez… I’m piled up with so many books that I want to read… and I’m currently reading 2 books simultaneously… hahaha!

Really? How were you able to work on 2 of his 3D animated adaptations? I’m quite curious. :P

I’m a 3D animator / Technical director. The first company/studio I worked for actually got the job from Impact studios, an Oklahoma based Christian entertainment company. It was the last the project we did before the company (ours) shut down, we were actually sent to L.A. with a group to finish the job there. That project was “Your are mine”.

Anyways, when the company shutdown our director (from the local studio, but he was american) was awarded the next project “Green Nose” (since we did well on the first, even though it had a rather small budget).

Because he liked our work, he hired 10 of us (pinoys) to act as team leaders for the chinese group and artists as well … we step up in Beijing China where it was cheaper to do ;P After the project, or rather as it was being finished SARS broke out … our director as in L.A. at the time musical scoring the whole thing leaving us high and dry to look after ourselves to escape the ongoing virus outbreak.

After that experience, we stayed local. I worked on a few SFX for local films, and now I”m back with the crew on a new 3D animation studio ;)
Hey, I recently posted on of our works. Maybe you’d like to check it out ;) (here)
