I just finished watching a movie entitled, “Facing the Giants”… I absolutely loved the film! Truly inspiring… the type of flick that’ll leave you feeling really really good after viewing it.
An inspiring Christian movie that tugs your heart and lifts your spirit. Wonderful production values as well. Who would’ve thought that a football picture can do this? I seriously recommend this to everyone… you can try looking for it at Astrovision or Video City… I’m pretty sure it’s also available at OMF bookstores cause last time I was there, they had a wide variety of Christian movies (DVD & VCD) for sale.
Oh, and the soundtrack of the film is superb! Tons of wonderful Contemporary Christian Music (CCM). Some would think that Catholic/Christian movies have cheesy packaging and sub-par video quality… but you’d be pleasantly surprised to know that nowadays it isn’t the case anymore. Nosiree! The “Facing the Giants” DVD packs a kick (no pun intended) in terms of features: Special Features, Previews, Gag Reel, Various Subtitle Languages, closed captioning and 5.1 Dolby Digital Sound!
If you’ve been wanting to invest on a film that is kid-friendly, uplifting, exciting, heart-warming and inspiring… don’t look any further. You won’t have any regrets with this.
My wife doesn’t know anything about football and still she enjoyed it a whole lot… in fact, it actually left her crying. So, if you’re thinking, “I might not enjoy cause I know nothing about football”, then you’ve got it all wrong. You don’t need to know the game to appreciate the messages of the flick.
“Facing the Giants” is highly recommended to everyone!
